But how do you describe a time travel paradox anyway? As good a place to begin as any other, we wanted to make a record that played like some of our favorite stories: our hero stuck in a locked groove, doomed to make the same choices precisely because they know how it turns out. Or maybe representative of systems closed to progress. An endless knot, a snake eating it’s own tail, effect as cause, eternal return. Maybe next time will be different. But how do you describe a time travel paradox anyway?
